      Authenticate into an Application

      Online Authentication

      When you have network connectivity and you want to authenticate to any of your corporate applications, you will receive a login request on either your screen (if number matching is enabled for your organization) or via the Axiad ID app as a push notification.

      1. Sign into the application you want to authenticate into.
        A number displays on-screen and a push notification displays on your mobile device.
      2. Open Axiad ID on your mobile device.
      3. Use your device authentication to sign into Axiad ID.
        The authentication request displays with details about the account, the application requesting the authentication, your name, and the geolocation and IP address from where the request was initiated.
      4. Tap and hold Approve.
      5. Enter the number from your screen into Axiad ID.
        When the numbers match, you're successfully authenticated into the application.
      1. Sign into the application you want to authenticate into.
      2. When prompted, enter your credentials.
        A notification is pushed to your mobile device.
      3. Open Axiad ID on your mobile device.
        The authentication request displays with details about the account, the application requesting the authentication, your name, and the geolocation and IP address from where the request was initiated.
      4. Tap and hold Approve to authenticate the request.

      Offline Authentication

      If you are offline and would like to authenticate into corporate applications, you can do so using the passcodes available at app launch. We support two types of one-time codes: 

      • Event-based OTP (HOTP) codes generate new codes on every press and the passcode is valid until use. You can refresh the code if required to get a new code.
      • Time-based OTP (TOTP) codes are only valid for a certain amount of time after which a new code is generated. If you are using the credential issued by the Axiad Cloud, then it is a TOTP. 
        • By default, Axiad ID generates TOTP credentials.
      1. Open Axiad ID on your mobile device.
      2. Use your device authentication to sign into Axiad ID.
      3. Locate the account you want to authenticate into and note the six-digit code.
        This code refreshes every 30 seconds.
      4. When prompted on your corporate application, enter your current PIN and the code.
        The circle on the screen turns green, and you're successfully authenticated into the application.
      1. Open Axiad ID on your mobile device.
      2. Use your device authentication to sign into Axiad ID.
      3. Locate the account you want to authenticate into and note the six-digit code.
        This code refreshes every 30 seconds. 
      4. When prompted on your third-party application, enter that code.
        You're successfully authenticated into the application.
