Axiad Mesh Identity Providers

In order to create securely access Axiad Mesh, you must add Identity Providers (IdPs) that contain your users’ login and group role information.

Add an Identity Provider

Your first IdP should have been added during the initial onboarding experience, so this is required only if you have multiple IdPs or multiple domains for which you need to account for user logins.

1. From the homepage, click on the gear icon to enter the Settings page

2. Select Identity providers in the left-side menu

3. You’ll see your existing IdP(s) and its status on the Identity providers page

4. Click the + Add identity provider button

5. In the new dialogue, select the appropriate Provider to get the necessary fields for connection

If you wish to add an IdP that is not listed, then contact Axiad Customer Success to request it as an enhancement

6. Once you select the provider and fill out the necessary fields, click Test Connection

7. Once the connection test is successful, click Add & connect

8. Once configured, you’ll see the new IdP listed in your Identity providers page

Edit an Identity Provider

You can easily update an existing IdP connection from the Identity providers page.

1. On the row of the IdP that you want to edit, click on the three-dot menu button and click Edit

2. On the Edit identity provider pop-up modal, make any changes you would like to make and click Test Connection

3. Once the connection passes successfully, click Save

4. Your IdP settings are now updated

Disconnect an Identity Provider

You can easily remove an IdP connection from the Identity providers page.

1. On the row of the IdP that you want to remove, click on the three-dot menu button and click Disconnect

2. Confirm the removal by clicking Disconnect on the pop-up

Note

To cancel the removal, simply click Never mind on the pop-up

3. On the Identity providers page, the IdP connection will no longer appear
