Article summary

If you are using on-prem Active Directory in conjunction with any of our supported integration partners, and your company is implementing or has implemented a solution to Microsoft KB5014754, we can provide following general procedure that may prove useful for your setup.

IMPORTANT
Prior to adding SCIM attributes, you must contact your Axiad Customer Success representative, or our Customer Success team (customer.success@axiad.com), to discuss your organization's integration.
NOTE
We also recommend that you work with your IdP directly if this general procedure does not meet your integration needs.

Add a SCIM Attribute to an Identity Provider

  1. Open your identity provider's synchronization configuration.
  2. Edit the SCIM connector targeting your Axiad Cloud instance.
  3. Edit the SCIM schema to include the urn:ietf:params:scim:schemas:extension:CustomExtensionName:2.0:User:objectSid target attribute, with a data type of string.
  4. In the SCIM data mapping for the connector that holds the object SID, add an attribute.
  5. Map the attribute to the SCIM attribute added in step 3.
  6. Save the configuration.
  7. Resynchronize all user accounts.
