# Enable PKI on macOS

To enable PKI for your macOS workstations, you must:

1. [Add an identity device via Axiad Conductor](/v1/docs/add-an-identity-device).
2. [Deploy the root and issuing certificates](/v1/docs/mac-deploy-root-certs).
3. [Pair the device to the keychain](/v1/docs/pair-a-device-to-the-keychain) (Mac login).
