Article summary

Each time you incorrectly enter a PIN, the Fail Counter increases. You can reset your OTP token's Fail Counter if the Fail Count is greater than zero.

NOTE
  • OTP tokens include mobile OTP, APN/Axiad ID, and YubiKey OTP seeds.
  • If the Reset Fail Counter option isn't available in your Actions column, your OTP token may not have any counts associated to it.

Reset a OTP Token Fail Counter

  1. On the MyIdentities page, locate the OTP token with the Fail Count you want to reset.
  2. In the Actions column, click Reset Fail Counter.
The Fail Counter for the OTP token immediately resets.
