# Retrieve a Personal Unblocking Key (PUK)

You can retrieve a Personal Unblocking Key (PUK) to unlock a user's device they disabled via too many incorrect PIN entries.

## To Retrieve a PUK

1. Use the **Search** bar to locate the identity device you need to unlock.
2. In the **Actions** column, click **Retrieve PUK**.  
A dialog box displays and the device details display, including the PUK.
3. Use this PUK as the PIN on the locked device.  
The device unlocks.
