# Scan a Device

When managing your organization's devices, use the Scanner to view their details.

## Scan a Device

1. Sign into the Unified Portal.
2. On the header, click **Help Desk**.  
The Help Desk **Users** page displays by default.
3. Click **Scanner**.  
The Help Desk **Scanner** page displays.
4. Insert a device into your machine.  
The device information displays.
