End of Sale: Windows Hello for Business Credential Issuance Feature

Starting May 20, 2024, Axiad will discontinue the ability to issue Windows Hello for Business (WHFB) credentials from Axiad Cloud / Axiad UCMS. Customers who are currently using this feature can continue to do so until its end of life occurs three (3) months following this announcement, at which point the feature will be removed from our products.

Customer Impact

While Axiad is removing a feature, the benefit of managing users across various data sources remains unchanged and is even enhanced for Microsoft credentials at no extra cost.

Customers can use Axiad for a singular perspective across all elements of their Entra ID estate, providing a centralized location for management and reporting. Through Axiad, operators can view and even delete Microsoft credentials for all users, including those who are not subscribed with Axiad, alongside the credentials issued by Axiad.

End-users can continue to use their WHFB authenticators to access resources protected by Entra ID; and for access outside of Entra ID, they can choose from the alternate authenticators that Axiad supports for a secure and simplified login experience.
