Enroll a New Identity Device for a Coworker

You can enroll an identity device for a coworker if you are within their circle of trust.

TIPS
  • You can only enroll Unassigned devices.
  • If the identity device is invalid, or your coworker's profile does not allow device enrollment, the device is listed under Ineligible Devices and you cannot enroll it.
  • If the identity device is already assigned to your coworker, it's listed under Assigned and you cannot enroll it.
  • If the identity device is a TPM, and it's available and active, it's listed under Coworker Devices as Virtual Smart Card.

Enroll a New Identity Device for a Coworker

  1. From anywhere inside of the Unified Portal, click MyCircle to open the MyCircle page.
  2. Enter your coworker's user ID.
  3. Click Next.
  4. If the identity device you want to enroll for your coworker is a connected device (such as a YubiKey), connect it to your machine.
  5. Select Connected Identity Device.
    A list of available identity devices display:

  6. In the Select device drop-down list, select the identity device you wish to enroll for your coworker.
  7. Click Next.
  8. If required, enter the correct answer to the coworker's security question.
  9. If required, enter the current PIN.
  10. Enter a new PIN.
  11. Confirm the new PIN
  12. Click Next.
    Your coworker's identity device successfully enrolls.
