After you revoke a device (invalidate all credentials it contains), you can recycle it for issuance to another user.
Recycle a Device
- Ensure the device you want to recycle is revoked from the original user.
- Connect the device to your machine.
- In the Unified Portal, from the header, click Help Desk > Scanner.
The Scanner page displays. - In the Actions list, click Recycle.
The device is ready for issuance to a new user.
NOTE
If you are recycling a Yubikey 5, and if the slots are not configured as \"Factory state\" in a Credential Profile in UCMS, then those slots are disabled.
